It is important to give credit where credit is due. These fabulous ladies levelled up in terms of style and it did not go unnoticed by we in the fashion community. Here’s our best dressed women list for the month of May, 2018.

  1. Thick Leeyonce

Nothing makes a woman sexier than her confidence and South African plus size model, influencer and entrepreneur Thick Leeyonce has a whole lot of confidence. She looks amazing in this cape coat dress from her own brand Lee Bex.  She definitely looks ready for a stylish winter.

2. Keillah Okari

Keillah Okari is the fashionista taking the Kenyan fashion scene by storm. When I think of creatives who think outside of the box, Keillah comes to mind. This particular look in the month of May was definitely one for the books. Her hair is the ultimate statement piece and she makes sure that mom jeans become your staple just by seeing how great they look on her. She is always such a stunner!

Global influencer Camila Coehlo looked regal in this Christian Dior number as she attended the Dior Cruise show last week. Her style is always timeless and she is definitely a designer’s dream. The dress is bold, sexy and feminine, so I appreciate how well she styled it. Less was more with this particular look.

This summer ready outfit has to be her best look in the month of May. The Balmain blazer and the Gucci heels gave her the right amount of glamour. She looked fabulous!

Kefilwe Mabote is without a doubt one of the most successful influencers in Africa. She is not just a personality, she is a brand. She looked ravishing in red at the Dior beauty cocktail party in London. Her style palette has definitely gotten better and it ages like fine wine. I love how feminine and bold this look feels on her. Kefilwe is definitely a lady made to adorn all things luxurious.

6. Olar Slim

I love it when girls that work in fashion, actually look like fashion. Olarslim is a boss and fashion enthusiast with a growing business hub. Her style is elegant and yet so chic. This look gave me summer/spring vibes. The outfit fit is perfect and the bright colors against her skin looks absolutely exquisite.

7. Patricia Kihoro

It was refreshing to see so much local presence at The Cannes Film Festival 2018. One of the faces present was radio host Patricia Kihoro. She had quite a number of gorgeous looks while in France it was hard to pick just one. I love how African she looked throughout the festivities, her melanin looking magical. This wrap dress look was perfect for the European summer.

When in New York it is important to slay like a native. Nigerian television host Stephanie Coker definitely got the memo as she strutted the streets on her recent trip to the concrete jungle. I absolutely love this look on her, her hair cut looking spectacular. You can never go wrong with black and white and she made sure we all knew that.

When you go for Dolce and Gabanna, make sure you go all the way. Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo took that and ran with it. She makes it all look so effortless; her look, the way she is posing looking like a page out of a magazine. If you are looking for major style inspiration, you might want to start stalking this pageant beauty. She never disappoints.

10. Lerato Kgamanyane

Trust your digital influencers to always do the damn thing! Lerato Kganyamane is one of those creatives who thrive on doing the unexpected in terms of fashion. Her style can switch from trendy to classic in the drop of a hack. It helps that she know exactly what works for her petite frame. Her execution is always flawless; take for example this look that gave us some “Rich Hamptons” vibes. She nailed it.

It was definitely a month to remember, from history making royal weddings to African girls topping best dressed lists like no one’s business. Can’t wait to see what style is served in the month of June.
