My dress code (if it was allowed anywhere and everywhere, would be a cool t-shirt with skinny or boyfriend jeans and a pair of boots). For most, they believe one has to suffer for fashion but for me, comfort is key. I love to be comfortable and yet pull off being stylish at the same time.
My name is Beatrice Mbanga, a girl with a dream from Nairobi, Kenya who loves t-shirts.
Here comes Bambinatara!
The whole idea of Bambinatara t-shirts came about after I lost my favorite t-shirt. I had had the t-shirt for almost two years and I had to wear it at least twice a month (yes twice a month). You know those t-shirts that are crisp yet soft to touch? That was my tee. Then one day, it just disappeared. In my quest to replace it, that is when I got the idea, ‘Why not start designing and selling my own t-shirts?’ I want to share the ability to look chic, stylish and comfortable at the same time with other people. That is how the idea of Bambinatara was born.
Bambinatara is a combination of two words.
Bambina is Italian for little girl or baby girl and Tara means a queen, star or/and goddess in different cultures. What better way than to combine the two and I got Bambinatara. A little queen! I loved the sound of it.
These t-shirts are chic with beautiful art work and calligraphy that serves as an excellent conversation starter. Each t-shirt passes a message to the masses.
The t-shirts are made up of ring-spun cotton (good quality cotton). It does not shrink when washed and the art work does not fade.
How to get yourself a Bambinatara t-shirt?
P:S. Currently the t-shirts are for the ladies. However, gentlemen do not be discouraged or disheartened. Here at Bambinatara we are thinking of you and in the near future we will include male t-shirts.
At Bambinatara we value education and we believe that knowledge is power. We have a tote bag that we are filling with books and our aim is to give it to a primary school student. Feel free to contact us on our charity notion!
