Why makeup you may ask?
Marco has always wanted to be a visual artist. His interest mostly being in painting, (which he still does just on a different canvas) making the transition from oil painting to makeup came naturally to him.
“I love makeup, and I enjoy working with people so it’s an incredible medium for me.” For Marco, being a Makeup Artist involves so many dynamics. That is from understanding beauty and skin, all the way to character creation. “For me, Makeup is the ultimate art form…I am most drawn to it because I see it as a catalyst. Not just to bring about someone’s best self, but also send a clear message. A message of the times.”
MAC cosmetics is one of the world’s most inclusive makeup brands. To put an end to your quest for the perfect shade, they have decided to add 18 new colors to their bestselling Studio Fix Fluid Foundation.
The line now boasts a total of 64 shades.
Having worked across the African continent, and being very particular about getting the base right when it comes to foundation; Marco personally got to help the global MAC team to curate the new shades, (especially the deep shade range) after years of taking notes on what African skin needs.
On top of updating their liquid foundation, more colors have also been added to their studio fix powder plus foundation, which now has 53 shades. Congratulations Marco Louis on your contribution in developing some of the new foundation shades. MAC cosmetics is truly living up to their brand promise which is beauty for all ages, all races and all genders while representing #EveryShadeOfYou.
